Ehh
To me smells like a really strong body wash. I kind of get the appeal, but there's no way I'd wanna wear this out. Glad we can decant before buying!

Creed Green Irish Tweed Cologne is an invigorating, spicy yet classy, elegant yet sporty and masculine scent. Definitely a classic, and popular among Hollywood's leading men, as well as some of the world's most powerful and refined gentlemen. Notes of lemon, verbena, iris, violet leaves, sandalwood and ambergris.
from influenster - "I cannot even describe this fragrance in words. They just escape me, but I will try...Fantastic, elegant, sophisticated, gentlemanly, fresh, clean, and classic. This smells like the British countryside. Lemon verbena, plenty of greenness, and some beautiful and high-quality iris sitting on a bed on sandalwood with ambergris."
from bestmenscolognes - "The opening of Green Irish Tweed is very earthy and has a sort of mossy/pine type of scent to it... once Green Irish Tweed starts to transition and the more citrus based notes begin to emerge, this stuff becomes quite nice and smooth. It has a refined and elegant aroma which is masculine without being overbearing or obnoxious. To me, the whole fragrance is green, fresh, with a citrus kick provided by the lemon verbena."

GIT is a great fresh fragrance that is both clean and sophisticated, however, either because I go nose blind to it quickly, or because the fresh ingredients dissipate quickly in general, it doesn't seem to last on me (or my clothes) as long as I'd like. I would certainly sample this before purchase, just to see how it reacts with you. Because of its overall performance, I personally wouldn't purchase the real deal, and would go with Armaf's Tres Nuit instead. It has an almost identical smell, with slightly better performance, at a tenth of the price. Because of these performance issues, I would only give GIT a 4/5. It's a safe, clean scent that lacks (for possibly personal reasons) any decent performance, especially at asking price.
This is a strikingly clean and fresh scent. Honestly, for the first 45 minutes it's like a big blast of deodorant soap. You might be disappointed to think that you paid a lot of money to smell like Coast. Be patient. When things calm down, the individual notes make themselves known. Then you have clean, masculine and sporty subtleties. This is a gentleman's scent. Clean, fresh, hospitable, quietly strong.
I really like the smell of Green Irish Tweed. It's similar in some respects to the best features of Gray Flannel, but even better. Still, for me at least, the longevity is quite poor. This is disappointing, especially considering the very high price.
I really liked this fragrance. Fresh, clean, elegant, intriguing. Some issues for me with longevity (a few hours at most). Considering the price point I'd want it to last longer, but while it's there it's super.
nice scent... very clean and with a hint of pine and melon, expensive... but I purchased an $120 bottle
If you are looking for the perfect all around scent, I'd recommend this. People may mistake it for Cool Water, but it is a much better blended juice. Smell them side by side and yo will notice GIT is the one to keep. It goes with anything. Only downside is the price of the bottle.
This is a great clean - fresh smell. The original essence of later Cool Water by Davidoff. Too expensive though, and really poor longevity.
This is a nice fragrance/scent but it didn't perform well enough for me to make it worthwhile to purchase.
If you like cool water , which I don't you will love this fragrance...this is the original cool water...
