Fragrantica - 'In the opening it smells like peppery pancake syrup, but it is addictive in a weird way. It's not mass appealing in the US where fresher smelling scents are favored. If you're getting into non-fresh smelling scents, this might attract you because you'll want to learn more about it. If you're mostly into fresh citrus forward or sweeter scents like the JPG Le Male type, this is going to seem odd and confusing at first. It is on the other spectrum of where Creed Aventus sits. This one is a new direction for Creed."
Fragrantica - "Syrupy licorice. This is the longest lasting and strongest projecting Creed. Not even kidding, lasted me around 14 hours. Sprayed it before bed at around 10pm, 8am rolls around, still smelling this. At around noon I was still catching whiffs in the air! I own 14 Creed bottles, and this is their deepest, loudest fragrance that evokes an extreme boldness while wearing. This stuff is seriously so good! Sample before wearing, though. Definitely divisive, but I love it!"

Fragrantica - "This fragrance needs heat and support from the skin. While it can be sickly and overpowering on clothes or blotters, the notes soften on the skin. It's nothing extraordinary or new - a chocolatey oud. But it's one of the few fragrances that I have and have been stopped on the street by strangers, asking me what I'm wearing. The sillage and longevity are crazy strong. All of my clothes from that day still smell, after a whole week, so really not for the faint of heart. While I love Creed's fresher fragrances, I always thought the darker ones were lacking and a bit grandpa-smelling, this feels like a new direction which livens up their brand."
