Description

Cumin is a member of the parsley family, originally cultivated in the Mediterranean region.  It is the second most popular spice behind pepper.  The aroma is completely distinct, referred to in perfume circles as skanky or smelling of body odor when it first pops open.  When I throw it in a pan in cooking, when it first heats up, my kitchen smells like a locker room.  Cumin's beauty is after that open, it warms to the skin and takes on the characteristics of sun-warmed skin or sometimes sex.

This sampler contains samples for women, though men could enjoy this sampler as well!  You will receive a 1/2 ml sample of each of the following:

  1. Frederic Malle Une Fleur de Cassie - On the open, this scent can be offputting because of the cumin, but it dries down to a gorgeous floral.
  2. Gucci EDP 2002 (brown bottle) - As with all cumin scents, this opens all oddness, but it turns into an amazing orange blossom and heliotrope scent.
  3. Hermes Eau d'Hermes - Also opens pungently, but softens with vanilla and wood.

You also have the option of choosing a larger set.
