Description

Electimuss Trajan was released in 2020. Inspired by Emperor Trajan, it has notes of blood orange, mandarin orange, lemon, bergamot, saffron, lavender, sage, ambergris, cedar and oakmoss.

From the brand - "Trajan was a giant amongst men, justly earning his reputation as one of the Five Great emperors. A man of pioneering spirit, great military strength, peace, philanthropy and virtue. His rule saw the greatest expansion of the empire across the Silk Route, creating great wealth, cultural diversity and commerce. This warm citrus fragrance traverses the Silk Route across Mediterranean citrus groves , through gardens of lavender and sage, cedar woodland with a hint of Eastern sugar and spice."

Electimuss is a London brand that creates luxury fine fragrances inspired by Rome. The Romans were the original perfume connoisseurs on a tireless quest for the best, collecting rare and exotic ingredients across the Silk Road. Electimuss shares that obsession sourcing only the finest ingredients. Their pure parfums are decadent and long lasting and their blends are bold and individual with meticulous attention paid to every note and ingredient. Created by master perfumers for perfume lovers. Electimuss means "To Choose the Best".

Electimuss Trajan Reviews

Fragrantica - "Every second fragrance on Fragrantica is claimed to be "BR540 clone" and I usually strongly disagree with 99 % of these comparisons. Did people lost the sense of smell after covid or have these noses been always so shallow? Trajan (and maybe also Torino 22), actually, is really close, almost unrecognizable from BR540 after the blood orange opening fades away (after 20 minutes). If I was about to decide whether to buy BR540 or Trajan I would buy Trajan because the orange opening note makes it distinguishable and a bit fresher."

Fragrantica - "This is a wayyyy better version of BR540. Smoother, sweeter and without the dentist office vibe. I used to own BR540, I dont like it ultimately, but I really like this. As a matter of fact, after letting this sit for a while, i am getting powdery sweet cotton candy notes, that reminds me of Kilian Princess, which is great for me as that is one of my all time faves! This is a keeper!"

Fragrantica - "It’s a warm, sweet, citrusy scent. I definitely understand the comments about it smelling like an orange/lemon cake, but it’s not a gourmand. I think it will wear well all year except in very high heat or extreme cold. I’ll test the latter this winter. I have nothing to compare it to (never smelled BR540), but I love it so far. It’s solidly unisex."

Fragrantica - "This stuff is radiantly beautiful. I smelled it on my psychiatrist in which she told me it was Trajan. Immediately I ordered a sample for myself. And the verdict is that its certainly close to BR540 but not nearly as obnoxious and screechy. My opinion boils down to this... BR always felt cold... desolate... flat. Trajan, on the other hand, is brighter, airier, more mouthwatering, and even more professional. 100% a win for me."
