Etat Libre d'Orange launched their first collection of candles in 2007. There were four fragrances in the set - Entrecuisse, Messe Rose, Soldat Inconnu and Bottes et Ceinturon. They were available only at Henri Bendel and have since been discontinued. Unfortunately I cannot find any information on the candles on the Internet so I'm unable to let you know what the candle smells like.
Just a note about a few things when looking at "older" candles - those no longer in production. Frosting - this is a natural byproduct of a natural wax and in no way affects the burn ability or fragrance of a candle. It is caused by tiny crystal growth that forms on the top and sides of the wax. Sweating - this is caused by a combination of things and 100% soy candles are notorious for sweating. Soy wax can release excess oil during temperatures changes and this can be strictly from the wax itself. The import thing to note is that sweating will not affect the quality or performance of your candle.
All of my candles were kept in a cool, dry location in their original boxes/tins.
