FYRINNAE MARSHMALLOUD REVIEWS

Reddit: I am NOT a gourmand person, though I tried to be. This perfume MADE me a gourmand person. I have never smelled something so delightfully cozy, warm, and sweet WITHOUT it being overly sweet. This truly smells like marshmallow and warm woods. Incredible. Long-lasting. Amazing. 1000000000/5

Reddit: Wet on skin: Yep. Singed marshmallow! Beautiful and not juvenile at all which is what I expect from a marshmallow scent. This is my first marshmallow oil and I typically don't classify myself as loving gourmands but truly have not tried many. Dry down: I completely forgot what the notes were and so I was absolutely delighted when the marshmallow scent tucked out a bit to let the amber, oud and sandalwood through. I felt proud that my nose seemed to smell most of the notes in this fragrance! It settles into a warm, rich, sensual scent. I never thought a marshmallow scent could be so sophisticated. I can't wait to use this for layering too. Want to try it with Pandoramonium. Throw: Moderate to high Longevity: Moderate Recommend: YES 4.5/5

Fragrantica: This is fabulous, I love the contrast of the sweet marshmallow with the oud amber and sandalwood.  It’s well balanced so it’s not too sweet but not overpowered by the oud and sandalwood which you’d  imagine would dominate.  This one I definitely want a full size of.

Indie Scent Library: Firstly, I love the name. It makes me grin. Described on the site as “rich but bright”, I must totally agree. I don’t have much hands on experience with oud, but it’s definitely got a sort of funkiness that I’ve heard about with oud. It’s also a tad bit medicinal, but I think the marshmallow and amber must temper than down enough that it reads as “bright” on me instead. I get a smooth and creamy sort of woodiness with this in the drydown, warm but not suffocating.
