Mesocyclone features notes of Fyrinnae’s own proprietary petrichor and cold air blends along with (in descending order) ho wood, bergamot, tonka, a tiny bit of tomato leaf, oud, thyme and rose geranium. It is not an aquatic fragrance at all; it is heavy on greenery. While Mesocyclone is the most perfumey fragrance in Fyrinnae’s storm collection, it is not supposed to be a realistic interpretation of an atmospheric condition. Mesocyclone is a very large area of rotation within a convective storm, from which a tornado may be formed. A local tornado warning is often issued once a mesocyclone signature is detected on radar.
Mesocyclone is the scent of thick-feeling humid air and the scents of harvested fields mixing with a hint of rain. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
Reddit: My partner and I smelled this out of the bottle and were like... wh... this actually smells like air?? Specifically, I would say, cool green air. This seems very well blended and is pleasantly light. Petrichor / cool air is definitely the top note. I feel like I'm in a garden where the rain has just stopped, but the sun hasn't come out yet and there's a cool wind in the air.
Reddit: A very sharp green aquatic on me and stayed pretty much like it with the ozone coming out in dry down.
