Givenchy L'Interdit Angelique Rouge was released in 2025, an angelica-centered version of the cult original. Notes of angelica, prickly pear, ginger, white flowers, more angelica, Haitian vetiver and pathoucli Givenchy L'Interdit Angelique Rouge is an EDP, eau de parfum.
From the brand - "L'Interdit Angélique Rouge reveals a flower with narcotic features and an intoxicating fragrance that will captivate anyone who crosses its path. A vibrant contrast between the purity of L'Interdit's emblematic white bouquet and the crisp and spicy notes of this interpretation of Angelica . Sensual and magnetic, the thrill is instantaneous. Thanks to an extraction technique that captures the quintessence of the Angelica flower in its natural state, Givenchy magnifies its hypnotic effect by combining it with the aromatic essence of its seeds. This audacious interpretation of the flower is enhanced by the addictive notes of succulent Prickly Pear blending with the spicy facets of Ginger. In the background, the enigmatic woody notes of Vetiver and Patchouli heighten the powerfulness of the accord. Dangerously sensual but delicious, L'Interdit Angélique Rouge Eau de Parfum releases a sharp intensity. Experience the thrill of the forbidden with L'Interdit, a fragrance that invites you to defy convention and embrace your singularity."
Fragrantica - "This perfume is so reminiscent of the 80’s and 90’s bangers to me. It is STRONG. It’s the posh Aunt drinking bourbon by the fireplace at the ski resort. Definitely can smell the L’interdit Rouge DNA. The fragrance is still going and I sprayed it on my wrist 3 hours ago. The prickly pear and Angelica are deep and delicious. If you’re a fan of the stronger old school aromatic fragrances you will love this."
Fragrantica - "The generous amount of angelica and vetiver gives it a sweet, green, and pleasant scent. It's a very unique flanker that's well worth owning."
Fragrantica - "Something like a "big sister" with a cherry red sports car and boyfriends would wear before pushing her way through the only bathroom in the family house and flipping you off as she exits after 8:30 (ur bedtime) to do all those important things busy high-schoolers did in the 80s. The Angelique flanker dries down to a lookout under the Hollywood sign. Under a cherry moon. Close to the stars. Intense connections over 8-tracks and fags with wild grasses bristling on chrome rims right outside the car door. Aqua-net up top, cherry lipgloss, waxy, a natural tan, and a really weak skunk roach of Haitian Vetiver."
