From the brand - "L’Interdit Absolu reveals a new floral woody ambery composition, a chase between iconic scents and unconventional notes. For an immediate thrill, experience a vibrant blend of fresh lavender that invigorates the senses, combined with the magnetic allure of cardamom and the distinctive essence of Neroli Essential. These bold, modern top notes seamlessly merge with the iconic L’Interdit white bouquet, featuring the exquisite absolutes of orange blossom, tuberose, and jasmine sambac. Like all Givenchy fragrances, L’Interdit Absolu reveals a contrasted facet: the florality leaves room for woody notes of vetiver and patchouli, bringing depth and elegance to the fragrance. Addiction reaches its climax with the new mysterious trail of tobacco and cistus absolutes; a long-lasting experience which will leave you forever transformed."
Fragrantica - "I am a true fan of the entire library of interdit, and this is no exception. A little stronger, a little spicier, a little smokey, more vanilla and slight rum, but then back to white florals and woods. If you like the line, this is a good one to add and not redundant. If you don't know the line, start with the OG. Absolu may be a tad unisex in the opening, but within 5 mins it is a feminine masterpiece."
Fragrantica - "This one suprised me! She is leaning a tad unisex..but damn...she is sexy and on my skin preformance is really good! Nice one to ad if you are a fan of the l'interdit line like myself"
Fragrantica - "I find it Interesting that Givenchy has marketed L’Interdit Absolu towards both Men and Women, I can see why. It’s extremely addictive, potent and sensual. Performance is nuclear. It leans more masculine to my nose, the Jasmine Sambac, Tobacco and Rum takes centre stage, the Tuberose is there too, slightly muted by the Rum, it’s well blended. The dry down slowly transitions into a state of ‘warm booziness’. I absolutely love it."
