Goldfield & Banks Purple Suede was released in 2022, created by Ilian Ermenidis. Inspired by fields of lavender in Tasmania heated by the sun. Notes of Tasmania lavender, pink pepper, hyssop flowers, wood, leather, patchouli, oakmoss, civet, amber and oud. From the brand - "Born of Provence lavender introduced to Tasmania's rich climate a century ago, Purple Suede expresses the scent of aromatic fields of sunburnt lavender, where blossoms are crisped by the fierce heat of the sun. Paired with the scent of rust-colored saddles, this perfume reveals a distinctively rich and dry sillage."
Goldfield & Banks Purple Suede is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "Purple Suede offers a smoothed and refined experience of leather, not as loud or aggressive compared to most. I feel like this could be an unisex leather that ladies might like to wear on a night out, or a more polite daytime leather for a man who might favor heavier, skankier leathers after work."
Fragrantica - "Same dna as silky woods, same texture, and both have a lot going on if you stop to think about their nuances. Both mass appealing imo. Both dense but slightly “grainy” and not heavy. This one has a juicy and slightly fruity quality, Almost plummy but not (I dislike plum) which really makes me think purple. Maybe it’s the lavender tricking me?"
Fragrantica - "It has the same DNA and texture as Silky Woods and is very well blended. The lavender is perfect! I wore it to work today and it filled the room. Got several compliments as well. When I smell this, the word "smooth" is the first word that comes to mind. I will be getting a full bottle."
