Their stallion kicks up dust as they ride off into the endless field of dirt and brush. You’re left alone at the ranch you shared with only your memories to show for it. Eyes rimmed in red and throat filled with the metallic aftertaste of tears, you trudge through the orchard, looking at the unripe fruit and hoping for a sweeter tomorrow. There’s something so romantic about being left high and dry. Heartbreak Silverado features top notes of pink peppercorn and unripe mandarin orange; middle notes of new-mown hay, cannabis buds, brewed coffee and nutmeg; and base notes of worn leather saddle, Haitian vetiver and Texan cedarwood. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
GOOD DEAREST UNHAPPY HEARTBREAK SILVERADO REVIEWS
Reddit: This one enters the scene with a big punch of Mezcal. Smoky and zingy, a tinge of green in there. After a bit of wear time it simmers down into a slightly sweet hay-field that reminded me a little bit of Sweet Grass by Libertine. This one however is a lot more dynamic and tells its story well. Partner says the intense opening makes it the most challenging (or complex, rather) of the line, but not off-putting and they felt sexy wearing it. Feels like you’re ready to ride your horse cross country to reunite with your love. Upon second sampling the coffee note comes through nicely without being gourmand.
Reddit: On paper it feels a lot brighter and more balsamic, cooler perhaps. On skin it’s a bit warmer/spicier. I don’t know that I specifically pick out unripe mandarin, but I do get citrus + vague herby-green (cannabis) + brewed coffee and a little bit of nutmeg. The nutmeg seems to keep it spicy yet somewhat cooler. I don’t know if that’s universally true or just how it settles on my skin. Sweet, spicy, and woody and I’d consider it very solidly unisex. The cedar comes through as it dries down. Definitely sweeter and more syrupy on skin, but this is the first of the ‘warm spicy’ type of fragrance that doesn’t overpower me and veer sickly/cloying. Yay! It’s not something I’d choose for myself given the notes, but I’d like to give this another go in the dead of Winter.
Instagram: A warm and dusty Montana ranch moment - this is incredible.
