Description

Guerlain Absolus Allegoria Tabac Sahara was released in 2026 as part of the Absolus Allegoria collection.  Created by Delphine Jelk, it is inspired by the desert at night.  Notes of raspberry, citrus, tobacco, red berries, rose, ambergris, anber, woods and vanilla.

From the brand - "Tabac Sahara by Guerlain is an intense tobacco-centered fragrance inspired by the desert at night. Created by Delphine Jelk for the Absolus Allegoria collection, it interprets the idea of smoke in a refined, diffuse way, evoking the transition from sun-drenched dunes to a cooler, star-lit landscape. The composition highlights a contrast between smoky tobacco and a vivid raspberry accord, suggesting both warmth and a modern fruity brightness. These central notes are supported by ambergris, additional amber facets, and woody notes, giving the scent depth, warmth, and a lingering, resinous character. The fragrance is presented as a contemporary, sensual take on tobacco with subtle gourmand nuances, and is described as containing a high proportion of naturally derived ingredients."

Guerlain Absolus Allegoria Tabac Sahara is an eau de parfum, edp.

Guerlain Absolus Allegoria Tabac Sahara Reviews

Fragrantica - "Love it! Luckily for me it’s not syrupy sweet raspberries. Works well with the tobacco and ambergris. Super smokey and animalic. Ambergris here reminds me of the older discontinued perfumes from this line."

Fragrantica - "This Tabac Sahara has a very interesting structure. A good while after spraying it is an airy, very light tobacco that smells like hay. More precisely, tobacco flavored with sulfin flower, coumarin in its most natural form. It starts to change a little when the delicate, without trumpets , red fruits and a raspberry with woody-leather accents a la Tuscan Leather appear on the stage. The pyramid would also list citrus, roses, ambergris but I do not detect them. It projects moderately, the longevity is average but I appreciate that they are exactly what and how much it needs to not become tiring or overwhelming. Whatever one may say, these notes and their combination do not reinvent the wheel, but the quality is quality and shines effortlessly. I rate it a 9 out of 10."

Fragrantica - "I am a sucker for Guerlain - the classics, the aqua allegoria line, the oriental line, and of course the luxury ones. Tabac Sahara is nothing like anything tobacco I've ever smelled - and the reason why that is, is because the combination of raspberry, citruses, tobacco, rose oil and red berries bring, I'd say, a new facade to tobacco fragrances. With a creamy raspberry tart-like opening, diving into a deep veil of strong smoke infused with rose, then to a relaxing finish of ambery vanilla and a hint of wood, this piece is a glorious take on fruits and tobacco in the actual juice. While I'm not exactly sure why they'd call it "Sahara", since the smell is not at all suggestive of desertic dryness, I think that it's a lovely play on what the wearer expects - something dry, heavy on tobacco or smoke, and then after the first spray... it envelops the wearer into a lovely fruity and smoky journey. Congrats to Guerlain for this amazing piece. 10/10."
