Fairway is a masculine fragrance launched in 2025. Created by Yann Vasnier, it is part of their Founder's Collection of fine fragrances. It features top notes of citrus, mandarin orange and ginger; middle notes of iced tea, orange blossom, pink pepper, geranium and orris root; and base notes of green accord, georgywood, Ambroxan, vetiver, musk and agarwood (oud). Inspired by a sunny spring day on the golf course, Fairway is endlessly fresh & feels better than hitting the perfect drive. It opens up with a bang: Bright citrus exploding out of the bottle. Think mandarin and orange blossom. Then, a dash of herbs & spice thanks to iced tea. It gets rounded out by sunlit greens, an injection of all things spring, greenery, and freshness. Whether you're a +2 handicap or a Top Golf happy hour pro, you can definitely appreciate a beautiful spring day with a cold drink in your hand. Fairway is an extrait de parfum.
Fragrantica: "I was hesitant in my approach to Fairway. In general, I'm not a fan of heavy green fragrances - you know, the ones that smell like your hands after weeding in the garden or the scent of grass clippings. Having a grass note and a name like "Fairway", I prepared myself for a roll in a pile of grass clippings on a golf course. But no, that's not what Fairway is. It is, IMO, one of the best Guy Fox fumes, just below Nightcap. Fairway opens with a really nice ginger/citrus combo that's refreshing. As it dries down, a definite tea note appears that's slightly sweet - no diabetic attack. As its evolution continues, a woody accord begins to appear that gives it a solid, masculine grounding, along with a slightly musky and spicy feel. It's at this point where the contradictions appeared for me. Is Fairway really a green freshie or is it a heavier fragrance suitable for winter? It's actually balanced so deftly, that I think it would work both in summer heat as it works now in winter cold (I'm testing this in winter). It's fresh and green, but not overwhelmingly so. OTOH, there's some heft in the base that makes it perfect for winter. How's that for versatility? Longevity is quite good, still having a strong skin scent at 9 hours. Projection is more moderate - about 3 feet out for a couple of hours. Guy Fox has a real winner here and am looking forward to purchasing a FB."
Fragrantica: "This is one helluva spring/summer time fragrance. It lives up to its name Fairway. Imagine standing on a golf course with a sweet tea in your hand. People around always identify the sweet tea note, or the grassy note. It’s a very calming smell that makes you wanting to keep smelling it more and more. It also seems they are taking the feedback from their Founder’s Line and applying it to the their next releases. They kept it more simple with the note break down in this release, and honestly it works. I’m a huge fan of this Founder’s line and I have 3 of the 4 fragrances from the collection. And when they re-release fairway I will definitely be buying another bottle because I find it to be that good."
Guy Fox: "Absolutely love the Fairway grassy outdoorsy citrus scent from Guy Fox! What a hit!!"
Guy Fox: "It is a total heartbreak that this is a seasonal release. To me it belongs in their permanent rotation. Most scents feel like a provisional ball you’re just hoping stays in play, but this is the only one I’ve made my daily driver. I’ve tested the rest of the GuyFox lineup, but while those might catch a piece of the fringe, this one sticks the green, literally. It’s got the perfect carry and a clean finish that never feels like a miss hit. If you’re looking for a signature scent that doesn't slice, this is the one."
Guy Fox: "I missed the first drop of Fairway scent and I was livid. When I got the notification that I dropped again I was quick to make the purchase ASAP! And the saying is true, “good things come to those who wait!” It is such a great smell. The literal first day I put it on, the day after I got it. I will say the compliments rolled in immediately! I’ve been asked numerous times what’s the scent and where did I get it from? This scent is not to be slept on. Guy Fox makes some of the best and affordable colognes! I have everyone one of their scents and I’ve never been disappointed. Excited to see what they roll out next. Until then anyone looking for a great quality summer scent please waste no time and do not hesitate to pick this Fairway scent up IMMEDIATELY! It’s worth the cost!"
Guy Fox: "I am not sure which fragrance is most popular from Guy Fox's Founder's Reserve Series, but my favorite is Fairway. It is the most pleasant green fragrance on the market and I find far superior in longevity to many niche green fragrances at a quarter of the price. The vetiver and ambroxan work well in the base notes and it has a pleasant iced tea note that makes this an ideal green fragrance for Spring."
Guy Fox: "Smells like a summer day at the country club."
