This fragrance is inspired by a winding country path in Richborough. Overlooked by a single apple tree and a large elderflower bush, leads up to the crumbling walls and grass ditches of an old Roman fort. The scent of this secluded lane is blown up by the wind from the rolling farm land beyond; the scent of poppies, spearmint, bindweed and wild parsley is met with elderflower, apple and grass to create one of our most intrinsically English fragrances and locations. Elderberry, spearmint and bindweed collected on 6th August / Rainy Day.
Richborough is a unisex aromatic green fragrance with top notes of mint, spicy mint and parsley; middle notes of bergamot, lemon, jasmine and Damask rose; and base notes are chamomile and woody notes. It is a parfum.
HAECKELS RICHBOROUGH REVIEWS
Fragrantica: This opens up very minty with citrus on a green herbal backdrop. It's clean refreshing and the green herbalness just gets stronger and stronger as time goes by. You know when you are in nature and some leaves have that intense bitter green smell, well it's what I'm smelling in with the mint. Around the edges of the scent there are some floral tinges that come and go. Projection is good and the smell and the quality is top notch but I don't know if this is my cup of tea. I think sometimes when you are not used to something it may take time to warm to it's charms. Smells good though no denying that.
