The fragrances in this sampler are all associated with graveyards or cemeteries. There is a word for the love of graveyard or cemeteries (Coimetrophilia) and I have always visited them on my travels. Besides the beauty of graves, headstones, masoleums, etc., it is extremely interesting to see how other countries and cultures bury and honor their dead. These fragrances focus on the ground of the graveyard/cemetery so these are fragrances with notes of overturned dirt, moss, patchouli, rain, grass, stones, fading florals, etc.
You will receive a 1/2ml sample (1ml sample vial filled half full) of each of the fragrances in this sampler.
- The Parlor Company Cemetery EDT - A damp stroll through a foggy graveyard with somber notes of rain-soaked petals, wild ivy and meadow grass.
- Sixteen92 Strigoi Extrait de Parfum - Strigoi is part of Sixteen92's Legacy Collection. It was originally released as part of the Autumn 2021 Undead Collection. The Strigoi is commonly linked to vampirism, but its roots are more closely aligned with witches and sorcerers. Over the years legends have evolved and by the 19th century the Strigoi was a staple of Romanian folklore more closely resembling vampires. It is commonly assumed that Strigoi legends played a large part in Bram Stoker's character development of Count Dracula. It is a dark, damp, mossy green atmospheric fragrance with notes of freshly exhumed funerary boxes, a circle of salt, cold iron stake, heavy stone, stinging rain, blood and fire.
- Sixteen92 0001 Cemetery Lane Extrait de Parfum - 0001 Cemetery Lane is part of Sixteen92's Legacy Collection. It was originally released with the Mysterious & Spooky Halloween 2020 Collection, inspired by everyone's favorite family - The Addamses. It is a chilly autumnal atmospheric fragrance with notes of crunchy decaying leaves, burning cedar and pine tar, crumbling limestone, deadly nightshade, desiccated herbs and chilly Autumn rain.
- True Wishes Cemetery Gothic Perfume Oil - In the heart of the mysterious and shadow-shrouded cemetery, where ancient tombstones stand as sentinels to the unknown, Cemetery Gothic encapsulates the eerie beauty and chilling allure of the spectral realm. Immerse yourself in a world where the whispers of the departed mingle with the scent of moss-covered gravestones, and the air is laden with an unsettling blend of mystery and melancholy. The composition is a carefully curated symphony of notes that mirrors the macabre beauty of the graveyard at night. Imagine the damp, moss-covered stones of ancient graves as the fragrance opens with an eerie undercurrent. This note sets the stage, evoking the atmosphere of a fog-laden cemetery cloaked in a mysterious aura. Delicate floral notes, touched by the haunting light of the moon, add an ethereal quality to the scent. Picture ghostly petals unfurling in the midnight breeze, creating an otherworldly and unsettling allure. A woody depth emerges, reminiscent of the aged wood of ancient caskets. This note contributes to the perfume's eerie character, as if the very essence of the graveyard's history is captured in the fragrance.
- Madam Moths Parlour The Grave Digger’s Delight Perfume Oil - The grave digger toils away, clearing the land and opening the earth. A strong aroma of freshly turned graveyard dirt fills the air with light notes of Sicilian bergamot, dusty bouquet accord, fir balsam and other graveyard offerings left behind.
- Sixteen92 Never Trust the Living Parfum - From The Recently Deceased Collection - This is a new and improved, updated and reformulated version of the original release of Never Trust the Living from Halloween 2017. With notes of dry black tea, ectoplasm, crumbling headstones, dusty bookshelves, graveyard dirt and dead leaves. A chilly and bookish atmospheric fragrance grounded by a dark, resinous base and warm, dried tea leaves
- Paranormal Perfumes Midnight in the Graveyard Perfume Oil - A hauntingly beautiful scent reminiscent of the space where the deceased are laid to rest. Antiquated cemeteries in the fog. Delicately carved headstones. Wistful reminders of loved ones. Damp dirt and mossy headstones. White funeral lilies. Dark patchouli. Cool rain and fog.
- Sixteen92 Highgate Cemetery EDP - Highgate Cemetery is part of Sixteen92's Legacy Collection. It was originally released with the Memento Mori (Fall 2020) Collection, inspired by iconic cemeteries around the world. The cemetery comprises two sites on either side of Swains Lane in Highgate, north London, and is notable as both a cemetery and as a nature preserve. Originally opened in 1839, there are today approximately 170,000 people buried in around 53,000 graves across both sides of the cemetery. It is a contemplative herbal atmospheric fragrance with notes of Earl Grey tea, lavender sprigs, juniper berry, ivy, gravel, crumbling cobblestones, delicate fallen leaves and soft mittens.
- Ghost Ship Scentporium Bachelors Grove 1832 EDP - Down a broken path through a mysterious wood south of Chicago lies one of the world’s most legendary burying grounds: the melancholy and crumbling graveyard called Bachelors Grove. Walking by moonlight beneath a shroud of trees and folklore, the ghosts of the Grove are legion, drawing thousands of lost souls, wanderers and wonderers, and those in search of the mysteries of the Afterlife. Evoke a magical night in this storied place when you open this unique scent laced with notes of earth, hickory, river rock, sage, cedar, forget-me-not and patchouli.
- Paranormal Perfumes Graveyard Perfume Oil - A morbidly beautiful creation inspired by the solemn peace that many feel when in a place where the deceased are laid to rest. The main inspiration behind this fragrance was to take the wearer through a "funeral-like" story. Base notes of graveyard dirt, moss, and rain create an eerie, earthy, and dark experience - laying the deceased to rest. Middle notes of funeral lily add timeless, floral, and soft notes reminiscent of the dearly departed. Top notes of patchouli create a haunting essence. A dark, earthy floral with notes of graveyard dirt, moss, rain, funeral lily and patchouli.
