This sounded like a snuggly dream and was pretty much a no-brainer for me, though like several other folks, I waited to hear reviews since cashmere is a new note for the Haus. By Candlelight is gorgeous in its simplicity: all I get is beeswax + musky cashmere, and it's ridiculously cozy. As is often the case with Haus of Gloi perfumes, I wish it had a little more depth or nuance, but when you want snuggly candlelit cashmere, you don't have to look any further. It's surprisingly strong too, and you won't need to put very much on to achieve peak coziness. Success!
Reddit: Wax is very present in the opening, wax and vanilla on the dry down. Cozy. I like the warm vibe from the wax and the not overly foody vanilla. Longevity was great. 4/5
Reddit: One of my favorite scents from any house. It's warm, cozy, golden, and it emanates comfort and subtle seduction. It's a very golden scent, but very very soft. I just adore it. I wear this one on date nights.
