Reddit: It’s beautiful! Lemon marshmallow is a stunner! Upon application it smells like lemon starburst. My favorite flavor of starburst! Yummy. At times, it also smells like slicing up a lemon and candying it. This is what I’d imagine biting into a candied lemon would be like. The dry down is reminiscent of having fruity pebbles cereal. The closest in terms of fragrance would be to Hexennacht’s Cereal Killer. Once dried and allowed to develop, the lemon note dissipates and you’re left with a vague citrusy marshmallow, similar to blood orange marshmallow! It’s really addicting and the HOG’s marshmallow smells gooey and warm. Not toasted but like melty and sticky.
Reddit: I haven’t heard this one talked about as much as their other marshmallow scents and I think it’s completely underrated! The initial scent in the bottle reads very much like Lemonheads candy—overly sweet artificial lemon—and there is not even a hint of marshmallow. However, the second you put it on your skin, the fragrance blooms into a beautiful citrusy gourmand. I’d describe it as limoncello (sweet sugared lemons with a slight tanginess) and the most perfect marshmallow base. I love Haus of Gloi’s marshmallow accord because it’s just…marshmallow. So many other marshmallow scents have a strong vanilla scent to them with maybe a little powderiness. I was worried this scent would be sickeningly sweet, but actually the marshmallow is understated and cuts down on the sweetness and brightness of the lemon.
Reddit: It's a sweet candy lemon with marshmallow! It's my current favorite.
