The Brier Path is a sun-drenched trail leading to a daydream of ripe berries and wood rose, rich forest loam, ozone, dark amber and cream. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
Haus of Gloi is owned by two vegans devoted to the lifestyle and their perfumes are highly concentrated fragrance blends of only the best absolutes, essences, essential oils and fragrance oils.
Indie Scent Library: This scent is very atmospheric. It feels like walking through the woods the morning after a rain in late spring. I get mostly the woods, dirt, and ozone scents. The berries peek through to brighten it up and the amber helps with longevity. I don’t get any cream at all though.
Reddit: I received a sample of this as a perfume on a previous order and really liked it. There’s something bright and balanced about it that makes it perfect for spring/summer. It’s fruity without going too sweet, rooted in rose and Haus amber.
Reddit: Why didn’t I get a full size?? This was a rebuy and remember loving it. This makes me so homesick and happy, it’s exactly how I remember playing in the woods and picking blackcaps to make jam in the sunshine. It’s warm berries, freshly picked roses with sun and dirt. “Loam” threw me off because that’s like, moist mud but this is fresh rich dirt (note: I don’t get any amber, no cream at first but it comes out eventually). Immediately bought my sisters a full size to send to them.
Reddit: This smells like a regency novel. It's very green but also a little tart from the berries. From my experience, HOG excels at fairly simple, but surprisingly realistic scents and Brier Path encompasses that. This scent makes me think of English gardens and picnics and berry picking. Very cottagecore. The only downside is that it's not very strong and probably the weakest of all the scents I tried. Maybe the EDP format would help this? 4/5
