Doesn't do much on me
This fragrance simply doesn't do much on me. It smells vaguely Eastern.
Hermes Equipage is a richly romantic scent that can be just the exact amount of spice for any woman and perfect for men. The notes list is marjoram, clary sage, tarragon, carnation, lily of the valley, cinnamon, pine needles, hyssop, liatris, patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, amber, coumarin, and tonka bean. Dating men have this in their list of things to put on before leaving the house. This fagrance is in the Oriental Fougere fragrance group. Equipage was introduced in 1970, and is an eau de toilette.
from boisdejasmin - "Equipage has a conservative air, restrained and elegant. The lush note of carnation blossoming in its heart adds a floral touch that prevents the composition from attaining an overly virile presence. It is a great fragrance, and although it’s marketed to men, it can be worn by women too."
from basenotes - "Best use of cinnamon in a perfume ever? A quiet, dry and almost cool one that interlinks the anisic note of clary sage, the warm spices, herbs and soft-balsamic smoky wood together. Equipage maintains an evenly and perfectly balanced reserved warm-soft yet dry-bitter tonality throughout its duration that has a kind of meditative tonality, like the monotone singing of boedhist monks."
