Hermes Kelly Caleche is "A perfume of leather and flowers, as light as an angel's wing." says Jean-Claude Ellena. Kelly Caleche has notes of barenia leather, lambskin, rose, violet and vanilla. This is a soft floral leather. It is the EDP, eau de parfum and is in the Floral Woody Musk fragrance group.

For a few moments, it calls to mind the bright, grapefruit-y effervescence of Rose Ikebana, then it gets a teensy bit darker, with the lightest possible touch of something smoky and dry, and this stage reminds me vaguely of Osmanthe Yunnan. There is a smidgen of something fruity, almost like peach or apricot, and it seems to fade away and then reassert itself repeatedly over the next few hours. The heart is a blended floral, muted but not quite sheer."

Having previously used a full bottle of the EDT I thought that trying the EDP would give me more staying power. I do love the restrained floral with slightly deeper undertones, notes that to me are emblematic of Nose Jean Claude Ellena . But this modern scent does not last! About three hours maximum. At least the roll on sample is handbag friendly.
Great office and spring/summer scent. Really enjoy wearing for the grapefruit, floral and light leather combo. Drained my sample in 2 days before purchasing FB.

I bought a full bottle of Kelly Caleche unsniffed (I know, I know) and hated it at first sniff. I think the iris reminded me too much of bathroom spray. So, I put it away and ignored it for a few months. The next time I tried KC, it was love. This scent is strongly floral, with a hint of minerals underneath that makes it so interesting. The strongest notes to me are the iris, rose, and grapefruit, with maybe a hint of vanilla in the drydown. I don't smell any leather or violet. The sillage is excellent with unbelievable longevity on clothes (about 10 hours on clothing, 6 on skin). This is a great office scent because it smells fresh, feminine, and classy without being cloying or overwhelming. I'm so glad that I kept my bottle and will definitely re-buy in the future.
