Hermes Parfum d'Hermes is a classic scent from Hermes, and was created in 1984. The original, which is what we have, is said to have loads of oakmoss, a lot of patchouli, perhaps styrax, a bit of orange blossom and possibly a drop of civet, with even a possible drop of castereum, as the base is quite leathery and musky. This is just noses sniffing as we don't have the original notes.
It was later reinterpreted and called Rouge. This classic has notes of aldehydes, bergamot, galbanum, hyacinth, Egyptian jasmine, Florentine iris, Nossi-be ylang-ylang, Bulgarian rose, labdanum, cedarwood, vetiver, sandalwood, amber, spices, incense, myrrh and vanilla. There are five different bottles of Parfum d'Hermes and Rouge Hermes, the original Parfum d'Hermes donut hole clear bottle, 2000 era Rouge red donut hole bottle, another repackaged revamped in a rectangular red bottle, the current Rouge in a clear bottle with red label, and Parfum d'Hermes' current bottle which is clear rectangle.
We have the original vintage Parfum d'Hermes clear donut hole bottle we are decanting from.
