Description

Hermes Terre D'Hermes Eau de Parfum Intense was released in 2025. Created by Christine Nagel, it has notes of bergamot, black pepper, coffee, licorice, woody notes, lava and stone.   From the brand - "Terre d’Hermès Intense by Hermès is a fragrance that continues the exploration of man's connection with the earth. Created by Christine Nagel, this Eau de Parfum offers a powerful interpretation of the original Terre d’Hermès, focusing on the personality of ingredients rather than sheer intensity."

Reviews of Hermes Terre D'Hermes Eau de Parfum Intense

Fragrantica - "Very odd Very interesting I dont get much coffee off my skin. I do get the licorice, and the lava note is smoldering the entire life of the fragrance and its lightly smoky off my skin. Insane stuff. Best release of 2025 so far!"

Fragrantica - "The opening I really didn't like as I don't like coffee/ liquorice scents but once the dry down goes away this stuff is amazing!! Credit to the perfumer and hermes for allowing her to express herself more, great stuff"

Fragrantica - "The addition of coffee and licorice pulls Terre into a darker space, vaguely reminiscent of the spiced, syrupy depth of Sauvage Elixir, yet without the bombastic nature. These gourmand touches don’t overpower the composition but rather complement the earthy vetiver and flint (or lava stone?) with an almost roasted, subtly bitter warmth. It’s as if Terre d’Hermès traded its airy, sunlit dryness for something more brooding and complex. All in all, this isn’t a reinvention, but rather a refinement. A modernization that feels natural rather than forced. The elegance of Terre d’Hermès remains intact. For longtime fans of the original, this might take some adjustment, but I believe it’s the Terre that truly moves the story forward after 20 years. And unlike some attempts at “updating” classics (Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum, anyone?), this one feels like a genuine evolution rather than a side-step. I didn’t think I’d say this, but Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum Intense might just be the definitive version of the fragrance."

Fragrantica - "The anti-hero release of the year so far, not blind buy safe nor mass appealing. The opening is strangely addictive to me but the drydown is like an enhanced version of the original TDH which I adore. Couldn’t stop sniffing myself. If you’re not a fan of the original though you may not care for this much as the core scent profile is still clearly retained here. The licorice and coffee notes brilliantly modernize the scent profile for me without deviating much from the original. Full bottle worthy for me and honestly this is just a fantastic release, especially in a market that is oversaturated with sweet scents galore (some I do like). Bravo to Hermes and the perfumer for taking a chance with doing something unique yet still keeping the classy vibe of Terre d’Hermes intact with this flanker."
