Bark Bout is the scent of aromas of the wood, resin and a returning to the roots. It is like the best and most beautiful scent of raw wood. Bark Bout features a top note of cedarwood, a middle note of spruce resin and a base note of vetiver. It was created by a Finnish company and is inspired by the clean forests and trees in the northern part of Finland. They use needles, leaves, bark, roots, and resin from the trees in various ways in the fragrance formula.
This fragrance and Forest Riot, which we also carry, use Hetkinen's famous pine oil. The fragrance consists of 100% natural oils, absolutes, fragrance components and organic alcohol. Hetkinen fragrances are natural, vegan, cruelty free, sustainably made and free of preservatives and synthetics.

Hetkinen: This perfume is my new favourite scent. It is long lasting, projects well, not to mention the beautiful fragrance. As soon as I smelled it, I knew it was special, and I NEVER like woody smells. I would describe this perfume as warm, clean, and homey. It smells like a hot bubble bath on a frosty evening. It’s just divine. I do agree with the user beneath me that the woody notes do not come through at all. However, one of my colleagues has described this scent as ‘a few hours after incense goes out’. Ultimately, I think this fragrance smells different to everyone and that’s just magical.
