Reddit: Absolutely lovely!!
Reddit: It is very strongly root beer to me! I do get some cherry/almond (the two notes always flip flop to my nose, I think they're similar scent profiles).
Reddit: Bottle smell is like candied lemons with something dark creeping behind it, lending depth. Once it hits skin, I get a wallop of that licorice-y smell I’m not super into. It settles pretty quickly to allow some cherry and almond to come through. Now it’s vaguely reminding me of Jergens lotion. An elevated version, but still. This isn’t really what I want to smell like. I can imagine someone who’s into fruity perfumes liking this as what I would consider a more grown-up take on that. It’s interesting though. It has character, sort of being both a bright & dark fruity thing. I’m a sucker for scents that pull off opposing profiles. The dry down trends more towards a lemony baked goods smell on my skin, with a maraschino cherry on top. There’s a little amber poking through too. It’s a lot warmer and more inviting the longer it wears. I’m starting to be tempted. It has some throw too. I get wafts of it as I’m working, which make me like it more and more. It’s not technically something I would put in my wheelhouse, so I probably won’t upsize. Still, it’s nice and I would recommend it to others.
