1Huda Beauty Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry 48 was launched in 2022. Created by Gabriela Chelariu and Philippine Courtiere, it is a rich cherry with notes of cherry, raspberry, bergamot, praline, heliotrope, rose, jasmine Sambac, Palo Santo, tonka bean, guaiac wood, ambrettolide, Peru balsam, patchouli and Haitain vetiver.
From the brand - "Have you ever smelled something so beautiful, so intense and so hypnotic that it instantly lights your soul on fire? Lovefest is a luscious, woody, and mesmerizing fragrance that celebrates love, hope, and freedom -an ode to living life to the fullest! I focused on the cherry note as the main ingredient but wanted to add a twist and make it smoky, woody, and mysterious. The addition of palo santo and guaiac wood bottles the idea of surrendering yourself to what you feel in that moment and connecting to the present!” –Mona Kattan
Huda Beauty Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry 48 is the edp, eau de parfum.
Fragrantica - "Yes, it does smell similar to Tom Ford Lost Cherry, especially on initial spray. However, the woodiness of Lovefest stands out more. Tom Ford feels more smoky and with deeper, darker cherry. Lovefest is a little lighter, sparklier, and juicier. The Palo Santo may be the major difference to me. Love them both."
Fragrantica - "This is the best smelling cherry perfume I’ve ever smelled! The cherry note is dark boozy and warm. This smells like a deep red cherry wine with a sweet woody undertone! This will be in heavy routine during the fall and winter months! I envision this is the scent of Mortica Adams!"
Fragrantica - "This is more of a dark, boozy-ish cherry, on a warm, sweet, woody and ambery base. This smells like the epitome of autumn to me. And while it is on the sweeter side, it doesn’t go fully into gourmand territory. I really like this one a lot, and can see reaching for it often once sweater weather hits."
Fragrantica - "My husband bout bit my arm off last night when he smelled this on me! He usually NEVER complements my perfume. Only when I rock Lost Cherry!"
Fragrantica - "The Cherry is really well done and the palo santo note I’m getting is just incredible. I’ve layered it with Vanilla 28 and also with Sweet Diamond pink pepper and I’d recommend trying both. This is going to be a fall/winter staple for me. Mona has done it again! Obsessed!"
Fragrantica - "The first 30 seconds to a minute, I would say Burning Cherry is 99% Tom Ford Lost Cherry (I have gone through 2 bottles of Lost Cherry; it's a top 5 fav for me). After the initial spray, Burning Cherry starts to throw a lot of Le Labo Santal 33 (which I like, but it gives me a headache always). The Sandalwood/Santal softens and the cherry is still there, albeit much lighter. The dry down ends up being a lovely woody, cherry and Sandalwood scent that I really am enjoying."
