Out of all the fragrance notes in the world, oud has always given me this incredibly euphoric feeling that is both transformative and transportive - as if it exists in its own universe. My love for oud turned into passion once I moved to the Middle East over 20 years ago where I truly embraced the ritual of layering with it as an act of self expression and self love. Fragrantica - "This reminds me a lot of one of my favourite perfumes, Christian Dior Tobacolor. Tobacco oud is on the same wavelength, just a touch more masculine, and the tobacco is a bit more prominent. Tobacolor is sweeter. Imagine an ashtray and honey but in a really nice and comforting way. My favourite out of the bunch"
Fragrantica - "Bold for the house but quite safe if you’re experienced with oud. It’s there but honey and praline sweeten it up. It’s the most masculine of the collection and it reminds me of the tobacco in tobacco vanille by Tom Ford I wouldn’t say this is a dupe for it though"
