Imaginary Authors The Language of Glaciers was released in 2024, created by Josh Meyer. Notes of white pine, lilac, cashmere, juniper, forget me not, blue bugle, virgin snowfall.
All of the Imaginary Authors have a story that accompanies them. Here is the story of Cape Heartache from the Imaginary Authors website: "Have you ever stood alone atop a mountain with chunky snowflakes swirling all around? Such is the splendor you will experience within The Language of Glaciers, a romantic epic which reaches incredible heights and inspires one to leave no moment unappreciated. From the stillness of a moonlit snowshoe excursion, to the rush of witnessing an avalanche safely from above, the recollections of our unnamed narrator will captivate you the same way the solitary song of the snow owl captivated them. Find comfort in the cold and begin to see the world from stunning new perspectives. Critics have called it “A slow-paced story that will burrow straight to the center of your soul” and “Sharp as ice and smooth as a glacial lake.”
Imaginary Authors The Language of Glaciers is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "Born and raised in the PNW, this does smell like the woods on a cool, damp day. I definitely get petrichor, which is one of my favorite, most comforting scents. Seasons I associate are early spring or late fall."
Fragrantica - "This smells of lilac, mint & hay barn. It’s subtle & lovely!"
Fragrantica - "First smell is wintery woods. Smells very similar to the the pine and snowy winter scene in Soarin’ in Disneyland California Adventures. The juniper and lilac add a lovely depth. I grew up in a snowy Appalachian area and visited Alaskan glaciers, but I’m not getting any scent memory triggers. Unique profile not commonly found in perfumes."
