IInitio Parfums Blessed Baraka is from the Initio Parfums Prive French perfume company who uses perfumers like Alexandra Kosinski, Pierre-Constantin Guéros, Maurice Roucel, Alberto Morillas, Guillaume Flavigny and Hamid Merati-Kashani to create their fragrances. Initio Parfums Blessed Baraka is an amber fragrance released in 2015, created by Alberto Morillas, and has notes of white flowers, sandalwood, vanilla and musk.
From the brand - "A solar fragrance endowed with a sacred strength to provoke the hand of fate. A captivating blend of Musk, Sandalwood and Amber. An intangible energy surrounds the wearer. Its effect oscillates between pure power and pure addiction."
Fragrantica - "Wow just wow. I find this scent so hard to describe. Probably my favourite Initio and it is not even close. People talk a lot about Side Effect and Oud for Greatness, and I understand why (I own and enjoy them both) but Blessed Baraka is so much better. It is so unique. This is a masterpiece as far as I’m concerned, and this fragrance has my heart. It will never change. 10/10."
Fragrantica - "Some 'gender neutral' florals prettied things up a little, taking a some of that boozy swagger away. A haze of light, musky powderiness crept through too, and my interest levels went up 100% at this point! Finally amber and vanilla round out the heart to base phase, and yes, although an entirely unoriginal combo these days, when combined with the remnants of all that remains of the heart notes, it made Blessed Baraka, from start to finish, a veritable delight to wear."
Fragrantica - "Blessed Baraka is in my opinion, Initio's best fragrance. It is super unique and smells like nothing else out there. It's the only Initio made by the master perfumer Alberto Morillas. He is one of the best perfumers in the world, so it's no surprise that Blessed Baraka is so great. I can't even detect what notes are being used but it's so smokey, mysterious, fruity, mature - yet sexy. I can not stop smelling it on my wrist when I wear it, it's so alluring. Easily a 10/10 fragrance, and huge bonus on the unique factor because seriously, it's hard these days to find a fragrance that is truly unique. But Blessed Baraka is."
Fragrantica - "Throughout a day of wearing Blessed Baraka it's like a greatest hits of Initio and Parfums de Marly. Mostly like Oajan, but you get phases reminiscent of Carlisle, Side Effect, Psychedelic Love and Herod. You wouldn't be wrong if you added a bit of MFK's Grand Soir, too. I know that sounds a bit crazy, but believe me, this is not a mess. It is well-blended; a deluxe fragrance. More on the masculine side. A warm amber, sandalwood scent that may possibly have Tonka bean, floral notes and vanilla as part of its note pyramid. Definitely one of the more interesting Initio creations."
Fragrantica - "This is like Carlisle and Side Effect in a bottle, absolutely amazing, extremely sexy, quickly became my second favorite Initio in front of Rehab but behind Side Effect"
