Jo Malone Fig & Lotus Flower Cologne is a unisex fruity floral. From the Jo Malone website: Luscious lotus flowers skim the surface of a shimmering pond in the ancient Hanging Gardens. Their delicate water-splashed petals glide down the shaded walkways, sweeping over the plump, juicy figs that punctuate the bountiful trees. This light floral fragrance is brought together with neroli to capture the essence of a luxuriant landscape. Fig & Lotus Flower is a cologne.
Sephora: All at once rich and fresh and sweet and deep. Makes me want to go to a swanky, historical speakeasy and commit espionage in an evening gown.
Fragrantica: This has the right mix of sweet, green, and fresh, not too much of anything. It’s a perfect easy reach, good for all seasons and occasions. It’s not complex or particularly unique or attention getting, but that’s not usually the character of an easy reach anyways. As far as longevity, I could still lightly smell it wafting from my neck after the course of a workday, but couldn’t smell it well on my wrist up close.
Fragrantica: This fragrance opens with a very milky fig note, then fades into the aquatic and fresh note of lotus and finally rest in grapevine, note that isn’t mentioned. Very lovely and mouth-watering fragrance. Not too much longevity but it works perfectly in the early mornings or on a hot day!
