Description

Jovoy Fire at Will was launched in 2021, a unisex fragrance created by Vanina Muracciole. An elegant warmed vanilla with notes of vanilla, mimosa, brown sugar, amber, musk and vetiver. Jovoy Fire at Will is an eau de parfum, edp.

From the brand - "In the beginning there’s vanilla, of course, but it’s an unexpected vanilla — subtle, ethereal, as if suspended, with a unique note of honeyed, powdery mimosa. Next comes a vanilla that’s gourmand but not heady, fruity but not baked, poised between a “real” vanilla ice cream and sweet promises that echo like languorous kisses. An unambiguous fragrance trail, conceived like a beckon, arousing the appetite, and casting a spotlight on whoever wears it. Whether your personality is discreet or, to the contrary, completely intense, this perfume is made for those who wish never to go unnoticed again. By day, I wear it like a signature: you know I’m there, my perfume identifies me. By night, it envelops me in sweet promises. It fills the space, slips into every corner of the mind — and makes others feel a void when I move away.” And if I’m no longer around and my absence has not yet become overpowering, it must be that I left something behind — a scarf, a jacket, a little bit of myself.”

From the perfumer "A radiant French mimosa meets intense vanilla. A divine, sweet, and passionate trail.  Addictive."

Jovoy Fire at Will Reviews

Fragrantica - "Fire At Will is a soft, airy take on vanilla (especially if you’re used to heavier Arabian-style gourmands). The vanilla is light, sugary, and almost fluffy, lifted by a toasted brown sugar note that smells like muscovado icing. A gentle clean musk adds even more softness, giving the scent a cloud-like, cottony feel. There’s a buttery warmth underneath too, making it smell like vanilla cake with brown-sugar glaze, vanilla custard, caramel flan, or crème brûlée — anything vanillic that’s been baked or lightly toasted — yet it never becomes heavy or cloying. The mimosa doesn’t stand out as a distinct floral to me; instead, it seems to only brighten the composition and keep the sweetness airy. The blend of vanilla, amber, brown sugar, mimosa, and musk ends up smooth, refined, and easy to wear."

Fragrantica - "Fire At Will wears like the experience of cooking and eating a creme brûlée. The opening is the sweet, airy scent of cooking the custard. The mid is the crackly sugar crust. And the base is the silky rich custard on your tongue. This is sweet and incredibly addictive."

Fragrantica - "A delicious vanilla dream. Sweet, caramelized, sugary and utterly pleasurable. Honestly, one of the most perfect vanillas I’ve ever smelled in my life. "

Fragrantica - "This may be my new favorite vanilla! She's warm, sweet, and not cloying in the least. The mimosa keeps it from falling into sickly-sweet territory, and gives it an airy quality while still being firmly gourmand. A true grown up gourmand without being overly complicated. "

Fragrantica - "This is what I wanted Bianco Latte to smell like. It’s soft, feminime, cozy, warm. Smells like creamy honey."

Fragrantica - "Gorgeous vanilla that doesn’t give basic comercial vanilla at Sephora vibes because it’s not just a normal sweet popular vanilla. This feels very thought out, classy and timeless. Something that I can imagine on Kate Middleton or a perfect wedding fragrance. Similar to Tihota but with light clean solar floral touches."

Fragrantica - "i am obsessed with this scent. its a light sugary vanilla. that brown sugar smells amazing but its light and airy, not heavy gourmand, could be beverage of the mimosa. truly a masterpiece, i love it for winter/fall but this is something i can wear any season. needless to say, as someone with almost 200 perfumes, upon first sniff i really thought about it as signature scent worthy. thats how good it is"

Fragrantica - "This is not a cupcake vanilla. This is a woody vanilla with a wispy smoky feel. Vanilla Skin wants to be Fire at Will but is so abrasive and overly “modern” in its approach. Try both and you will be blown away by how much your standards will change. Fire at Will smells like real things. It’s like experiencing perfumery from another time. It’s delicate, not complicated, not ambitious, and doesn’t want to attract attention. The vanilla accord in here is probably the best I have ever tried. I have Tihota, Bianco Latte…I’ve tried Guerlain SDV, basically all the famous vanillas. This is the best."
