Fragrantica - "This is a classy, subtle-but-present, slightly sweet irissy-waxy floral-gourmand. but it's barely greedy. there's not much similarity to the OG LVEB but if you're looking for it & sniffing close up it's there. I really like this. If you like iris scents and the idea of a less sweet LVEB minus patchouli appeals to you then give this a go. I think this smells like quality & effortless elegance. well done. "

There is still this original perfume DNA but with a touch of iris note, which has this lipsticky feeling, not vintage at all, I would say totally modern. And it doesn't feel sickening sweet which I found the original sometimes to be. This one is great for sure, fbw in my opinion. Doesn't feel outdated, wears like a real high-end perfume with super great longevity and sillage!"
