A fragile, precious rose, synonymous with Grasse, Rose de Mai can only be picked when in bloom during the month of May. Rose de Mai is the central ingredient of this fragrance which features top notes of Rose de Mai and hay; middle notes of carnation, lilac, magnolia and basil; and base notes of amber, patchouli and violet leaf. Rose Privée is an eau de parfum, edp.
Bois de Jasmin - "On the rose spectrum, Rose Privée is on the light and sparkling end, although it has some dark touches. From the moment you apply it, you notice fruity notes—sweet raspberry, tart pomegranate peel and other juicy, bright effects. Rose essence naturally shares many elements with the aromas of berries, so the fruity nuance is a pleasant, harmonious touch."
Fragrantica: "Aromatic rose, dry and spicy, intoxicating, incredible...it has that bewitching enveloping smell of super-dry herbs and meadows, that comes from raked and baled hay from the fields in the late evenings, just before the sunset."
