Description

Lorenzo Pazzaglia Cherry Ink was released in 2022. Created by Lorenzo Pazzaglia, a dark boozy rum, it has notes of cherry, sour cherry, almond, rum, black pepper, bergamot, ink, red wine myrrh damask rose, cinnamon, mimosa, jasmine, lily of  the valley, tonka bean, precious woods, vanilla bean, benzoin, amber, musk, patchouli and agarwood (oud).  This is an Extrait de Parfum.

From the brand - "An unusual and avant-garde cherry fragrance, where the main note, together with its olfactory sister, black cherry, intersects with the unusual ink note, giving life to something disturbing, deep, dark and reflective. The boozy counterpart of rum and red wine immediately warms up the fruity notes, accompanying everything up to the amber and woody grand finale."

Lorenzo Pazzaglia fell in love with the smells from his father's kitchen, becoming a chef and then started studying the smells and eventually creating perfumes based on those much-loved smells.

Lorenzo Pazzaglia Cherry Ink Reviews

Fragrantica - "Cherry Ink is unlike any cherry fragrance I've ever smelled. It's dark, boozy, and incredibly intoxicating. The ink note is fascinating - it adds this unexpected depth that keeps you guessing. Definitely a statement scent!"

Fragrantica - "What I get upon first spray is red wine, cherry and rum. Almost like a glass of sangria, but smoothed out by a noticeable almond. I don’t get the only smell that it should have, according to both the notes listed and the name, but I can see why people may consider it inky. For me, the best ink scent has been done by Kierin NYC with Rose Ink as the metallic undertone capture a real feel of ink.
I enjoy this fragrance better as it dries down. It changes quite a bit and goes from drunkenly loud to powdery-nutty-rose that sits close to the skin and is only noticeable with when you move near someone. It is definitely pleasant, fun and a bit boozy. The dry down is all a sweet myrrh and woods with a powdery rose. I think it’s a great one for the ones who don’t love cherry but can appreciate a unique take on a creative spin on it."

Fragrantica - "One of the most beautiful and unique cherries I’ve encountered in perfumes. After getting tired of all the fragrances in the style of Lost Cherry, I was looking for something that wasn’t just another cherry liqueur bomb. And I found it in Cherry Ink. The name perfectly captures the essence of the perfume. It’s the scent of a serious, subdued cherry, thanks to the note of ink and red wine. As of now, it’s on the podium alongside Bodacious and Cherry Punk Extrait. Worth every penny!"

Fragrantica - "The first 3 hours are otherwordly: It opens with a strong cherry that is just in peak season to harvest. But the ink and the oud (possibly the oud) give this scent something metallic in the background. A bit bloody, I'd say that puts my nose on edge in the best possible way. The cherry and the metallics play tag in the first 3 hours, and sometimes it dips into the booze-y vibe. Sometimes it warms up and I get a bit of aged wine and rum. The first 3 hours is what I imagine a modern vampire to smell like. A bit dark, a bit tempting covered in fruity playfulness. So good. After the 3 hours the scent warms up (though I'd wager that the heatwave I'm in certainly speeds up the process) and It gets a lot more tame/ generic. A vanilla and amber first skin scent with a faint cherry undertone. It's still lovely, just a lot more gentle on the soul, haha."
