Description

Louis Vuitton Fleur du Desert was released in 2022 for Ramadan. Created by Jacques Cavallier, it is part of the Middle East inspired collection with notes of honey, cinnamon, jasmine, oud (agarwood), rose, orange blossom, ambroxan and ambrette.

From the brand - "The depth of Oud, with a honeyed hint of floral nectar. Rising like a mirage amid immense sand dunes, a flower unfurls its sumptuous colors. Marked by lasting memories of an oasis with lush vegetation in the middle of the Saudi Arabian desert, Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud pays homage to three flowers from the region that have become emblematic of perfumery all over the world: jasmine, orange blossom, and the rose. In a composition brimming with contrasts, the depth of Oud Assam bows upon contact with the radiant, honeyed tones of this nectar of flowers. A suave, colorful trail that leaves a distinctive imprint of absolute sophistication."

Louis Vuitton is a French luxury fashion company - famous for their gorgeous and distinctive bags and the LV monogram.  Founded in 1854, it was folded into LMVH, which has the brands of Moet et Chandon, Hennessy and Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton Fleur du Desert Reviews

Fragrantica - "Amongst my favorites from the house. This is one of those fragrances that starts out meh but evolves… Slowly comes into itself after about half an hour or so. Now you have honied tobacco, sweet rose, mild oud and a slightly feminine musk. Regal purple. Persian. Narcotic. Intoxicating. Unisex, but particularly delicious on a woman. Easy on the trigger."

Fragrantica - "Love this one! You gotta give this one some time. First spray at the store I hated it on my skin! By the time I walked out to my car, I was like damn, this is so different, I gotta have it!! Walked right back in and bought it!"

Fragrantica - "Smooth and beautiful, Fleur du Désert opens with a soft and sweet mix of honey, orange blossom and jasmine before it settles into a softer rose/oud blend. I can still detect some sweetness from the honey and the jasmine once it settles but much more subdued. The oud in Fleur du Désert is mainly woody, a bit smoky and slightly animalic when you take a good sniff."
