Louis Vuitton On the Beach was released in 2021, created by Jacques Cavallier, as part of the Les Parfums Louis Vuitton collection. A unisex citrus aromatic with notes of yuzu, neroli, pink pepper, rosemary, sand, thyme, cloves and cypress.
From the brand - "Yuzu as dazzling as the summer sun at its zenith over the beach. The ecstasy of the sun, the rhythm of the sea and the gentle warmth of sand on the skin. Master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud blends the infinite emotions of a day spent on a sunny beach. Yuzu, a rare citrus from Japan, is a burst of bliss on the skin. Its surprising freshness and brightness glides into the softness of neroli. Thyme, rosemary, pink pepper, cloves… a sandy note of aromatic herbs perfects the olfactory landscape, while a veil of cypress brings generous, woody shade to a pure summer day."
Louis Vuitton is a French luxury fashion company - famous for their gorgeous and distinctive bags and the LV monogram. Founded in 1854, it was folded into LMVH, which has the brands of Moet et Chandon, Hennessy and Louis Vuitton.
Louis Vuitton On the Beach Reviews
Fragrantica - "San Diego beach smell. This smells like the taco restaurant in San Diego next to the beach where the ocean, the slightly moist air, and the perfume and cologne from all the summery people lounging around mixes in the air. Occasional laughter pierces through the constant low chatter of beach goers having fun. Their sunscreen, beers, margaritas, and a dash of the corn tortillas and shrimp tacos are in the background. It’s like the perfumer caught that smell and bottled it up. That’s the type of beachy vibe of this fragrance."
Fragrantica - "Gorgeous blast of yuzu, orange from the neroli, and what smells like salty ocean air blowing gently over a sandy beach. It gets more orangey as it dries down but otherwise doesn't change significantly from the opening. Absolutely captures the image of being "on the beach" as well as humanly possible, this may well be a Top 5 scent for me on smell alone."
Fragrantica - "Growing up in South Texas I had “Valley lemon” trees in the area and when u crush up the leaves it REEKS of FruitLoops and thats what this opening smells like. A sugary citrus explosion, kinda green and very fresh. This is so sweet and playful and would CRUSH IT at Fire Island! Lol Afternoon Swim is the bait and THIS IS THE HOOK! Well done Jacques!"
Basenotes - "Very pleasant lime, floral opening, like a beach scent should be. Seems very unisex, doesn’t lean either way in the opening. As it dries down, starts to lean more floral and fem, but still unisex enough to still have that non-gender feel."
