Description

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Kurky was released in 2025. Created by Francis Kurkdjian and in the Floral Fruity fragrance group, it has notes of raspberry, peach, fruity notes, gummy candies, white musk and vanilla. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Kurky is an EDP, Eau de parfum.  If we could embrace our child again with carefree play, imagination and pure joy for the simple things, I'm in.

From the brand - "Kurky by Maison Francis Kurkdjian is a radiant Eau de Parfum, capturing the irresistible allure of tutti frutti candy. Wrapped in a velvety embrace of white musk, this scent evokes the creamy warmth of vanilla and musk, creating a delightful, gourmand experience. Inspired by the pure joy of life and the freedom of imagination, Kurky awakens your inner child, inviting you to rediscover the lightness of carefree moments. More than just a fragrance, it is a luminous burst of happiness—a sunbeam for the soul. Let its enchanting aroma transport you to a world of fantasy, where each day is infused with luxury and playful sophistication."

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Kurky Reviews

Fragrantica - "Kurky is a light-hearted fruity musky fragrance for grownups. I don't pick up a specific fruit in particular; rather, it smells like a blend of fruits - like smelling the inside of a bag of candies all at once and smelling them as a whole rather than individually. Take that fruity candy smell and put it on top of a molecular musky base and you have Kurky. The musky base smells like a gentle white musk and is reminiscent of the clean musk in Aqua Universalis, but not to the extreme of smelling like laundry. The musk here smells like clean skin rather than clean laundry. I also want to add that the fruity candy smell here is not sugary sweet. It's actually barely sweet, which I really like. My only complaint is how light and faint the overall scent is. I can barely smell it unless I stick my nose right up against my wrist.
Kurky is the kind of scent that I could easily reach for everyday. Softly sweet tutti fruitti candies and clean musky skin. I just wish it projected better and didn't cost so much."

Fragrantica - "Tried this today, smells like juicy fruit gum. Innoffensive, light and airy, lasts maybe an hour before disappearing. This is clearly for the teenage girl crowd, I can’t see any adult wearing this."

Fragrantica - "MFK Kurky smells like very translucent gummy bears, particular the red gummy bears that are raspberry flavored. Even a little like twizzlers. I can see how almond is in here, because sometimes it comes out to strengthen the translucent candy's gelatinous texture with a more sturdy base. It's not like candied almond to me or nutty, which is great. This is pretty but truly a youthful scent. It's lands softly and is really close to the skin from the start. Not sure how to rate the longevity though. If I sniff my skin closely, I can still smell it 5-7 hours later, but I don't get wafts in the air even with movement.  I can imagine MFK made this because people were tired of teenagers wearing BR540. Or he truly wanted a fragrance expressing the favorite parts of his childhood. Not sure, but I would wear this if I wanted to smell fruity but not overwhelmingly so. Been obsessed with Albanese gummies and Kurky just brings to mind tasty fun, but softer. Or this would be a nice gift to someone younger who shouldn't be wearing heavy perfumes. Anyways, looking forward to trying this more as the weather continues to warm up, but a little worried any projection will get smothered by humid heat."

Fragrantica - "I got a sample from a very nice sales person and tried it for 4 days now. It’s sweet but not overly sweet, kinda of creamy and musky. I think of a peach creamsicle or ice cream but there’s a slight warm note in there that isn’t musky, almost a wood. The longevity is ok and sillage is arm’s length. This is meant to be a soft fragrance not a beast like Adventus or BR540, but not every fragrance needs to be intense. It’s more of an everyday or vacation scent, and I see it for date night too. Can’t wait for the release, it’ll be my scent for Spring and Summer, can be good for Fall too,"
