Marc-Antoine Barrois Ganymede Extrait was created in 2023, it is the darker side of Ganymede and much more controversial than the original. Created by Quentin Bisch, it has notes of incense, myrrh, mandarin orange, immortelle, akigalawood and safraleine. This is the Extrait.

The sound of the waves from far away. The wind is sweeping a field of everlasting flowers. The sun takes out its right and heats the spicy, almost syrupy scent of these yellow flowers. The waves are caressing the dune. The wind picks up the sand into warm, leathery, heady gusts- incense, myrrhe? Grains of sand are twirling, incandescent. It's a sweet immortelle scent for the most part. Immortelle smells like coffee with a lot of sugar - which I love. "
Fragrantica - "The next day it was colder and i was working outside i thought ill try again and not bury my nose in it….it was magical…the manderin came through with a tiny bit of the original dna and in the air it was unbelievable..i think thats the trick..dont smell it too close…i got back into my car after an errand and could smell it…so much better in the air… you are just surrounded by this incredible scent…but be warned as soon as you’re nose is close to where you spray its less pleasant…thats just my experience i went from hell no!!! to i need this perfume in 24hrs. Edit…i love this…it just takes time…give it time!…its incredible!"

But I’m impressed with the Extrait & will soon own it! Or Atelier Des Ors Bois Sikar which I find the two to be in the same ball park being semi sweet almost maple Smokey sweet..I can see & get the fenugreek in this after seeing it listed, And it’s cumin being Sweetened up in here “Not curry” There’s a diff & I happen to be a lover of cumin, Esp when done right! It was below freezing in Texas last week now sweating in the sun again..The “original” Although a diff scent was gone in no time off one arm & on the other this is 5 hours in ain’t fell back one bit. Just off some of a little luckyscent sample it’s invading my space hours in So the small bottle is fine This is one that calls for a small amount or you’ll make yourself & everyone around you sick! I don’t know if it’d get tiring for some it’s so strong But I’m loving the smell as of now with the little amount applied! Good stuff!!"
