Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild was launched in 2024, a flanker to the original Daisy. Created by Sonia Constant, Roxanne Kirkpatrick and Adriana Medina-Baez, it has notes of banana flower, macadamia, jasmine, vetiver and sandalwood.
From the brand - "Daisy Wild blends notes of banana blossom, never seen before in prestige perfumery, with an exquisite jasmine and nutty vetiver. These notes create a new addictive scent that beautifully captures the essence of nature."
Fragrantica - "I sampled this not expecting to be wowed… MJ isn’t my fave house. But holy cow… I love it. It’s got the balance of sweetness at top and woodiness in the base that I enjoy in Daisy Love but with more fruity zing. Banana flower is a new note for me, and I really enjoy it here. Sandalwood and vetiver in the base remind me of grass in a really fresh way.
I think the Daisy line are all generally inoffensive, sweet, pretty… and this one is actually a standout!"
Fragrantica - "This is my favorite perfume from the Marc Jacobs line, and I have smelled them all! On me, the opening is very floral and smells strongly of the banana flower, but in the dry down, it becomes sweeter and remains the perfect combination of floral and sweet. This reminds me a lot of Daisy Love without the cloudberry note which does not work with my skin chemistry so this is perfect for me. It lasts a long time on my skin (5-6 hours) and even longer on clothes and in my hair. I think this is a beautiful every day signature scent no matter the season, but I will especially enjoy this in the spring and summer months."
Fragrantica - "Daisy Wild is my new favorite Marc Jacobs to date (sorry Cocktail Splash Ginger!) And I'm not one for cutesy bottles, but this one makes me smile. I think Marc Jacobs hit a home run with the entire 2023 line-up--Wild plus the Pop series, of which Daisy Pop is also a 'love'."
Fragrantica - "Call this a win. I have several of the Daisy flankers but this and Ever So Fresh are my favorites. This is a very bright, sweet floral at first with a slightly creamy white floral note from the jasmine with a really nice nutty note and some green in there with a sandalwood in the base. I like it, especially the nutty note with the jasmine."
