Nishane Nefs was launched in 2019, an Oriental Vanilla unisex fragrance. Created by Chris Maurice, this strong bold beautiful fragrance has notes of honey, saffron, fig, violet, sage, rose, osmanthus, nutmeg, jasmine, geranium, Agarwood (oud), whiskey, vanilla, leather, amber, Gurjam balsam, cinnamon and cedar. Nishane Nefs is an extrait.
From the brand - "Is a luxurious interpretation of the oriental notes. Like Istanbul itself, the masterful creations of NISHANE straddle the line between Europe and Asia, synthesizing the palettes and traditions of both in the service of dynamic, modern perfumery. And so it's unsurprising that NEFS, conceptualized as the line's flagship oriental scent, strives for a new, modern oriental- an East-meets-West portrait of refined luxury to sway even those who dislike oriental fragrances. Like a breeze blowing from the east across the Bosphorus, NEFS is an exquisite oriental that bridges the gap between civilizations. A scent to revive the fantasies told by the stories of One Thousand and One Nights of the Orient."
Fragrantica - "This is everything i want in a winter Fragrance. Its a 15/10 for me. This is perfect for ME."
Fragrantica - "Machined Rose.
Its the only way I can describe this. It's a futuristic, oily, rose. Sooo good. Sooo unique. There's nothing like this on the market. Wow! This is an absolute masterpiece. I really can't describe this in words. I will say this is the greatest display of rose on earth. Stunning!."
Fragrantica - "Very sweet, very well done scent. It's feminine for sure. Cold weather and night time appropriate. I don't own the bottle. I smelled this at a luxury perfume store in San Francisco. So my opinions are based on that impression."
Fragrantica - "Nefs word derived from the Arabic 'NAFS' means what we have in the depths of our soul, the EGO.
It opens fruity spicy with a super realistic nuance of a pretty leathery saffron dipped in a caramelized fig compote soaked in honey, but nothing gooey or overly cloying sweet. A mouthwatering delicious start.
A complex mix of flowers with the cold and velvety violet with a fresh soft rose, and contrasting this freshness is added the geranium bringing the masculine character to this floral bouquet in the center of the fragrance, and the osmanthus with the jasmine reinforcing the fruity facet of the fragrance. So far I would say that it is a semi-gourmand.
Towards drying, more spices appear, seasoning everything and with a touch of medicinal oud present without difficulty, intertwining with a dry woody cedar, it gives the woody tone to the composition; finishing with more sophisticated leather and an amber alcoholic balsamic accord.
The fragrance perfectly interprets the connection between East and West as well as the beautiful city of Istanbul.
Oriental Perfume, Leather, Fruity, Floral, Spicy, Woody, Amber, Complex, Delicious, Luxurious, Elegant; Performance Potent, this one is brave and strong??, but without being defiant, maybe that's why the bottle is caged behind bars to hold this eccentric ego all over."
