"Fée du Lilas was created in memory of my sister, who was murdered in 2024. June 30th, the day of the fragrance's release, would have been her birthday. Lilac was her favorite flower, and as a ballet dancer she loved performing the role of the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty. To me, she will always be my lilac fairy." Launched in 2026 by Odette Fontaine, Fee Du Lilas is a gossamer-soft memory of lilacs blooming in her grandmother's garden rather than a photorealistic lilac perfume. Delicate petals drift through notes of sugared Mirabelle plum, meringue kisses and olibanum vanilla, creating a parfum that feels luminous, comforting and quietly nostalgic. It features top notes of lilac, sugar and Mirabelle plum; middle notes of tiare flower milk, meringue kisses and milk; and base notes of vanilla, olibanum and blonde cedar. Fee Du Lilas is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica: "A lovely sweet lilac and tiare flower scent. It’s soft. A great layering scent over say a vanilla lotion. I get what the other reviews are saying about a sunscreen scent. I’d say because of the tiare flower it has a slight tropical scent instead."
Fragrantica: "Surprisingly there is a noticeable tropical solar floral quality here that I think comes from the tiare note. I don't get much meringue or gourmand essences from my sample of this, just a general sweetness along with the lilac. I love lilac as it's such an ethereal floral but I don't find it the main star of the show here. Overall I would describe this as an inoffensive pretty lilac perfume, light, delicate and sweet, with a distinct sunscreen vibe."
Fragrantica: "I love this so much. For years I have been searching for a fragrance that gives the feeling of long discontinued Creme Bouquet by Stila. This is close. Beautiful dewy lilac with a sweet touch. Makes me smile.
Fragrantica: "I find that the tiare flower is far stronger than the lilac in this perfume, and it leans more sunscreeny than I personally prefer. It's quite light, too–it's gone from my skin within a few hours. You can't beat the good cause this supports, so if you like a feminine floral vibe, it's worth sampling."
Fragrantica: "At this point I think I can just blind buy from Odette and stop spending my money on samples. This is beautiful, show-stopping, completely made for me. What a lovely way to honor Odette’s sister, the lilac fairy! I am sorry for her loss."
Fragrantica: "Maybe I’m a little insane here, but I pick up VERY little lilac from initial spray, even as the heart notes settle down into the skin. I feel like this is a very solar, white floral forward perfume - and had I been blindfolded and not shown the notes, I might have labeled as jasmine, solar notes, and an almost sunscreen like warmth. As it settles there’s a waxy sort of sweetness, and I think it’s overall a lovely scent. The notes are just a bit misleading to my own nose, even if this is a lovely and well crafted scent. The bright side is that I was worried this scent would be too sweet and heavy for the summer - but it actually would work quite well for a beachy scent!"
