Reddit - "The opening is a very convincing presentation of East Asian cypresses. Some people here may be familiar with the smell of Hinoki, which is one of the many cypresses in this area. Somewhat unusual, a scent with woods leading the way. Within the opening I also detect osmanthus and a more balsamic note which smells like a mix of frankincense and freshly cut camphor laurel. The heart is beautiful. The closest rendition of high quality tea I have smelled, outside of me freshly brewing some hand-rolled oolong in my Vermilion Clay pot. Jin Xuan oolong is a lightly roasted oolong with a creamy, floral and grapefruit-y aroma, which has been captured here very holistically. Tea snobs like myself will often smell the ceramic ware after the tea dries up - bottom of the cup, lid of the pot, sometimes a ceramic scenting spoon - and the aroma that results from high quality oolong is absolutely beautiful, much more complex and intoxicating than anything man-made (yes, even niche perfumes)...so, I am glad that this perfume manages to capture a partial aspect of this."
Fragrantica - "This is an incredible recreation of an aged Chinese tea, reminds me of aged white tea. Definitely crafted by a teahead. There is an astringent smokiness to it. I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy for everyone."
Fragrantica - "An exceptionally beautiful tea perfume. Gentle, quiet, smell just like the decades-old chinese tea cake. The smoky notes make it feels like a cup of hot chinese tea, which is very relaxing, even giving a sense of Zen."
Fragrantica - "One of the best tea perfumes I've ever worn in my life. And with this one, the scent is highly accurate to the fragrance of real aged tea. I love it so much and got complimented from a fellow tea lover when wearing this."
Fragrantica - "This is one of the most sophisticated tea scent so far I've tried. Where most of other brands when making tea scent perfumes; they try too much on amplifying the tea scent with strong base/foundation notes (this in my opinion sometimes ruin the tea scent, make it repulsive and too strong); the tea scent here in Aged Tea is very much intimate; soft; relaxing and gentle."
Fragrantica - "This is tea and basically tea only, but oh what a tea scent. Gentle and quiet but filled with depth and phases. Gets smokier as it goes along. Perfect for cosy evenings at home or spring/summer days/evenings.
Wears very gentle and soft."
