Parfums de Nicolai Saint Honore was launched in 2024 as part of the Parfum Gourmand collection. An oriental vanilla inspired by the sophisticated smell of French pastry. Created by Patricia de Nicolai, it has notes of pepper, bergamot, hazelnut, milk, orange blossom, vanilla absolute, sandalwood, amber and musk. Fragrantica - "I usually don't like orange blossom or milk notes or even gourmand perfumes as a whole but... This is so good and well blended. The hazelnut is delicious and slightly caramelised like the crunchy kind you find on some French pastries. It's extremely long lasting and is definitely not overly sweet. The milk doesn't turn sour and adds a creamy aspect to the hazelnut which, in turn, meshes with the orange blossom and the pepper and tunes them down a bit (and that's great!). I bought it almost immediately. ? I liked the other two from this trio of dessert interpretations but this one is the best to me."
Fragrantica - "Quite unique. Like dry SL Jeux de peau. It starts with an impressive real hazelnut. Hazelnut is dry and with a drop from Givenchy Ange ou Demon (spicy lily). Turns into not sweet, milky vanilla.
Settles to woody vanilla."
