Nice
I prefer the Parfum but this is a nice alternative. Just not as lush as the parfum
Patou Joy was created in 1930 at the height of The Depression. Joy is a classic, rich floral with notes of Bulgarian rose, ylang-ylang, tuberose, jasmine from Grasse and May rose. A perfume you must smell if you have not. It is an eau de parfum, edp.

I remember Joy from years ago, as being one of the most beautiful perfumes ever, but this is something different; it smells nothing like the Joy I remember. Is also a very faint fragrance that disappears quickly
Well I guess it didn't work with my chemistry It smells better on other women, I am more of A PORTRAIT OF A LADY person WORKS WELL WITH MY CHEMISTRY. warm and deep.
I wasn't impressed either. It certainly isn't as sensational as people claim it to be. In fact, many of the other items found on this site are richer, more evocative and have smoother notes. For Christmas, I asked my husband to buy me a sampler of the better perfumes representing each of the major fragrance notes. I prefer the most of the other scents he selected over that of the Patou Joy.
Perhaps, I need to try this one again. I honestly do not find it the amazing scent so many people have labelled it. I will try again.
