POESIE VILLAGE BAKERY REVIEWS (Based on reviews of the oil version)
Reddit: Initial sniff: A fluffy white bread with a toasty and golden oven-kissed top. Delicately sweet and I smell something ever so faintly like a wooden baking paddle or shelf but this may also just be the toastiness being mistaken for a subtle woody feeling. Very light perfume strength for me so I needed to take really deep sniffs to get the initial notes. Drying Down: With the dry down, this gets fluffier and sweeter (sweeter than I expected for a baked bread scent). There's a subtle depth and warmth to the sweetness which reminds me a little of maple or a dark syrup / honey. At times it can be mistaken for a creamy coconut bun but there's no obvious coconut there, more so like a creamy, fluffy "texture" to the bread and a hint of butteriness. Oddly enough I found the initial sniff to lean much warmer and golden whilst the dry down seemed lighter, creamier and fluffier. A few hours later: This is another Poesie scent that sat incredibly incredibly close in terms of throw and was quite light in strength overall. I did find it could last a few hours of wear but at a light strength.
TikTok: It's very light and fluffy. I am getting the pistachio because I smell that kind of, like, nutty marzipanish vibe as well. Amazing.
