Profumum Roma Dulcis in Fundo was created in 2006 and is a vanilla, Sicilian citrus fruits fragrance. Thsi is a fragrance for both men and women and there isn't much else written about even from the manufacture so we will let the explorers speak about it in the reveiws. These are current reviews as they still speak about it.
From the creator - "Sin of gluttony…sin of heart: after all, don’t passion and seduction also pass through a vanilla halo?"
Reviews of Profumum Roma Dulcis in Fundo
Fragrantica - "buttery and sweet vanilla lemonies oranges, mandarins the best way... gourmand and natural 100%. i love it but"
Fragrantica - "It’s heaven when you find romance on your menu”
This is the most perfect VANILLA- LEMON scent I’ve ever tried, it seems to me like this was inspired from one of the best italian desserts called “La delizia al limone”.
It has the same addictive smell and taste.
Once you try it you’ll always look for it in on the menù. ? ? It’s not that easy to find, let alone to make at home. ( you can only find it in Naples)
I suppose it is a complete waste of time talking about sillage and longevity when it comes to Dulcis in fundo. Like where will you find smth like this anyway?!
Worst case scenario, if it’s a particular stage in my life and I’m really looking for attention ?, I can reapply it during the day.
It is beautifully uplifting: italian summer in a bottle.
If I had to sell all my perfumes and keep only two, I would keep Dulcis in fundo and Rosae Mundi."
Fragrantica - "I adore this house. Literally hit after hit. Dulcis in Fundo is no exception. The opening is a little off putting. To me, I just get gasoline. But literally 30 seconds later it’s the most gorgeous creamy citrus vanilla. It’s not a big projector, but I’m ok with that. It’s cozy like putting on your favorite sweater."
Fragrantica - "The scent is great but the performance is so boring, like a light lotion scent but very luxurious and attractive. You have to hug me to smell this scent.
A luxurious pleasant orange cake."
Fragrantica - "I'm not usually a gourmand girl. Vanillas make me nervous and the line between sweet and cloying is one I've always ended up on the wrong side of. I was so apprehensive trying this one... and I fell in love. I hesitate to say orange creamsicle because I don't pick anything up that's very milky but I get oranges and vanilla extract blended together in a way that is so perfectly complemented and not fractured like Comptoir creations can be. It isn't sticky or syrup-y but it is indulgent in some way. I've had particularly good luck with this lasting on me, even though it is sof. A delight!"
