Description

Regime des Fleurs Blood Spider Orchids was originally launched as a limited edition parfum in 2024, then released as an EDP in 2025. This is the EDP (eau de parfum) version.  We originally got the parfum and couldn't bring ourself to part with it because we thought we would never smell it again.  We may let some of it go in another listing  Created by Alia Raza, it is really unique and perfect for the fall with notes of cinnamon, smoked clove, nutmeg, frankincense, jasmine, patchouli, tonka, benzoin Siam and blood cedar. Regime des Fleurs Blood Spider Orchids is an EDP, eau de parfum.

From the brand's founder and perfumer - "I love researching flowering plants, and when I came across a rare one called the blood spider orchid, I was startled. I’d never seen a flower so eerie, with spidery petals like wispy alien tentacles in a shade of blood-red. It had an unearthly yet primal allure.  I first made BLOOD SPIDER ORCHIDS a limited-edition Fait Main. It was my playful prowl in the dark, and I never expected it to take off the way it did. It struck a chord, I believe, because it’s a refined fragrance that lets you explore your dark and seductive side. And so, it’s back: BLOOD SPIDER ORCHIDS is here as a 75ml Eau de Parfum and it’s calling to you…” Alia Perfumer & Founder

Regime des Fleurs Blood Spider Orchids Reviews

Fragrantica - "This is utterly gorgeous. I haven’t tried the fair main version, so my impressions are based purely on the permanent release. On me, it opens with a dark fruit, something that reminds me of cherries. This impression is deep and subtle without being the star. It quickly gives way to a smoky Tonka. There is a hint of a strangeness to it that reminds me of Bapteme du Feu from Serge Lutens, perhaps a hint of bitter orange? It is certainly more wearable and friendly than the Lutens. I love it for the upcoming Fall season, but it’s an opulent scent that I’ll reach for throughout the year. It’s long lasting and projects maybe 1-2 feet off the skin, though it’s not loud. My favorite release from the house, well done!"

The following reviews are from the parfum since there are only limited reviews on the newly issued EDP.  We found them very much the same, with the parfum being a much richer, deeper version.

Fragrantica - "The lavish goddess of the harvest, a spirit of plenty, a Dionysus in Rembrandt lighting. She bathes in sacrifical blood under the silver light of a full moon. Mulled fruit, night-blooming flora, vows uttered low in dark places. Or, if you will, Hansel and Gretel drawn deep into the witch's woods, lulled by aromas of spiced delights baked long and low over wood fire. I, too, would follow."

Fragrantica - "A Bram Stoker holiday special. Mina and Lucy gambolling through the Yule markets of a cobblestone Carpathian village. The night air curls with the hymns of a church choir and the steam from tankards of hot vin fiert. At the first blush of dawn, the girls clambour into the warm carriage of their velvet-cloaked patron, overindulged but hungering for more."

Fragrantica - "resinous, spicy, & erotic; the perfect lovechild of a heady night blooming jasmine and a simmering sweet cinnamon. a gothic gourmand that smells like a kitchen after baking a cinnamon pie while also being incredibly sensual…something seductive this way comes…"

Fragrantica - "Spicy, warm, a touch sweet, and sensual. This is my favorite Fait Main that I own from Regime des Fleurs. It's a dip into the gourmand pool without being sickly sweet or cloying. It's alluring, drawing you closer; it feels intimate and inviting, but also a little dangerous and intriguing. One of those scents where you can't help but to sniff your own wrist all day long."

Fragrantica - "This is heaven. The most insanely gorgeous tonka with mulling spices. Resinous, sensual, & sultry."
