Elizabeth Arden Blue Grass Perfume was created in 1934 and was the first fragrance launched by Elizabeth Arden. It is a beautiful, cool, green aldehydic floral bouquet and was created to celebrate the scent of the grassy pasture fields where Arden bred her famous Thoroughbreds. It was a fragrance that was as sparkling as sunshine and fresh air.
Interesting to note, is that Blue Grass is part of the Smithsonian's collection of cosmetics and personal care products displayed at the National Museum of American History.
Blue Grass was reformulated and relaunched in 1989. It is still available.
This is the original perfume mist version of the fragrance.
