Beautiful nostalgia
Just as badass as I remembered. Powerful and fascinating and a joy to wear.
Estee Lauder Aliage is a chypre floral fragrance for women launched in 1972. Created by perfumers Francis Camail and Bernard Chant. This is not the current version, it is the older version from the bottle as depicted.
Top notes are citruses, green notes and peach; middle notes are pine tree, jasmine, caraway and brazilian rosewood; base notes are musk, oakmoss, vetiver and myrrh.
From Influenster - "I had stories of men telling me they followed women around campus and in later years around grocery stores thinking it was me to find out it was someone else wearing Aliage. It's absolutely just a fabulous perfume I wear both in the winter and in the summer I adore it"

Like the love of my life (whom I unfortunately let go in high school), I was put off by my initial impression but it grew on me to the point of me realizing that it's truly magnificent & incomparable. I would like to request StC if they could also get the reformulated Aliage, as I'm curious how that compares. I heard that EL replaced the white florals with "fresh notes," hmmm.
