Retro Babe Cologne Flashback
Another example of how the wonderful expertise of the "Perfume Masters" at Surrender to Chance can send a retro fragrance in a small sample vile and bring back a big wonderful memory of a time of my life! BIG THANKS!!
Faberge Babe was meant to evoke "the image of a beautiful woman in an exciting career, into sports, active and interested in romance and all that, too."
It is one of the most beloved fragrances of the era and was marketed to women ages 16-30. Model Margaux Hemingway, just 21 at the time (and grand-daughter of Ernest Hemingway), signed a million dollar contract to be the face of Babe. At the time, the deal was said to be the largest advertising contract ever involving a female personality. She helped to sell $50 million worth of products for Faberge with their Babe line.
