This line was conceived by Béatrice Aguilar-Cassarà and inspired by her love of both fragrance and art. A formally-trained nose she collaborated with other perfumers to travel the world to source the best ingredients to create the five fragrances in this line. At this Spanish perfume house based in Barcelona, the fragrances are created first and then presented to visual artists who create an original work of art based on their olfactory experiences of the scents. Pigments used in the paints serve as the inspiration for the fragrance names.
Ocre Doré was created by Shyamala Maisondieu based on Béatrice Aguilar-Cassarà’s feeling that true luxury is found in nature’s perfection: virgin land, cascades of crystal water, the reflection of light on a diamond and in the white truffle whose aroma penetrates everything around it with its intense fragrance redolent of flowers, woods, silence and mystery. Using the beautiful white truffle, Ocre Doré features top notes of Iranian galbanum, tea and mate; middle notes of white truffle, oakmoss and dry undergrowth; and base notes of guaiac wood, Paraguayan wood, Virginia cedar, Indonesian patchouli leaf and labdanum. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
This fragrance was limited to a run of 50 bottles.
